Stockton Stands Book Club

Accessible political education is one of the core values of Stockton Stands.

The Stockton Stands Book Club meets once a month, focusing on different books related to politics, economics, equity, and various social issues. With virtual and in-person options, Stockton Stands book club aims to address the lack of resources for young people in Stockton to grow their political knowledge. Club members receive free digital copies of each book and have the opportunity to ask questions, engage with others, and have in-depth conversations about the systems that affect our community.  Stockton Stands Book Club encourages each other to learn more, challenge each other, and teach each other, connecting our local issues to the broader ideals discussed in our readings.
