Alyssa Leiva
Director of Mental Health & Wellness
Pronouns: she/her/ella

Alyssa joined Stockton Stands because she loves her home and wants to see it achieve better Public Health wellness to reach its highest and healthiest potential for every human being who lives here. As a Chicana Woman growing up in Stockton, she has witnessed and experienced the turbulence of living in a city that has faced intergenerational trauma & historical disenfranchisement on BIPOC communities. She fundamentally believes that actively cultivating a community of love & engaging within to redesign outdated systems will lead to the liberation of marginalized communities. Our struggles are all interdependent. When we do the work to improve our communities, we do the work to heal our communities. It starts with us.

STOCKTON, WE ARE RESILIENT. ♡
